Sometimes we will venture out from our Chicagoland area to cater to our next door neighbors in Indiana. This last weekend some of our staff helped out at an event in Highland, Indiana. We had the opportunity to cook and help entertain about 1000 kids at the Gemini Community Partners for Child Safety Event. It was a beautiful day and we met some wonderful people. All in all – adults included – we fed close to 1500 people. They got to choose from summertime favorites like juicy burgers, grilled chicken, hot dogs plus a variety of sides, salads and fresh watermelon. There were games and inflatables for the kids to play on and everyone was smiling. It was a lot of people so they kept us busy but we had a great time meeting new people and feeding the hungry crowd. As our website says, we like to be ‘crowd pleasers’ and seeing them have fun made it fun for us too.
