On Friday, February 27th, we were able to help out at the 3rd annual Shamrockin’ for a Cure! An event that helps raise proceeds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The night featured the St. Patrick’s Day Queen and her Court, bag pipers, Irish dancers, food & drinks, and a live band. Brendan Greeley, from the Steve Dahl Show was announcer for the evening and guests were able to take part in a silent auction and even a Pot of Gold raffle. Probably the standout event of the evening was an unforgettable speech by CF patient, Max Knipstein.
We were there providing dinner for over 500 guests. We just wanted to say kudos to the amazing CF Foundation staff who worked so hard to organize this event which creates funding to help search for a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. It was a great evening and we were very happy to be a part of it.
We hope you will consider visiting their website to learn more about the local Chicago chapter of CFF or even help out with a small donation.
